The Cause of Christ, to seek and save the lost, and disciple the found doesn't stop with adults or teens. It also extends to the smallest of our congregation. We have classes and ministry to every age child from newborn through age 12.
There is a trained, staffed Nursery available every regularly scheduled service for children newborn through age 2. The staff are not babysitting your children while you enjoy the service. No, your children are being taught the Word of God in a loving, playful type atmosphere, even at this tender age. They enjoy songs, hear a Bible story and a memory verse, and of course they play. Our kids love the Nursery! See Kim Hensley for further information or any questions you may have.
Then for our young children (age 3-grade 1), we have classes on Sunday and Wednesday. Again, we do not offer a babysitting service. Rather, we offer structured time where the children are taught the Word of God, enjoy music, and enjoy playing. See Susie Johnson for information or questions about the Sunday morning classes; and see Kathy Blair for more information or questions about the Wednesday evening class.(Rainbows)
For our kids in grades 2-6, we have SuperChurch on Sunday mornings. Pastor Jordan and his team make church something to shout about! The kids enjoy an active time learning God's Word and participating in contests and games. See Jordan Hensley for information and questions regarding SuperChurch. Then on Wednesday nights, there is Royal Rangers for the boys, and Missionettes for the girls. See Commander Sid Zeiler about Royal Rangers; and Kathy Blair about Missionettes.
For kids in grades K-6, who are interested in drama, we offer Sign-Language Drama, an introduction into drama. This drama group performs frequently during the Wednesday evening service, and occasionally during the Sunday morning service.
Children are important to you. They are important to us.
You will find a place for your entire family, here at Church on the Rock Outreach Center!
The 5 and 6 year old classroom has gotten a big makeover. The teachers came in and finished cleaning up. And look at the kids--they love their new room! Even Ellie likes the new room.
