Life Groups: One of the real tragedies of today's church is that we are too isolated and separated from each other. The need to meet from "house to house" todlay is no less important than it was in the early, New Testament church. We have discovered the life-giving relationships developed in the home cell(small) groups, help to obtain a balanced Christian lifestyle.
School of Leaders: is our Rock Solid Foundational Discipleship and Leadership Training series. It consists of three levels that takes about a year to complete.
School of Ministries:
is our Sunday morning teaching hour. Classes begin promptly at 9am every Sunday. We have a class for every member of your family, from the youngest to the oldest.
Young Adults:
is for young adults (single or married with kids) through age 35. They have their own Life Groups which meets weekly.
College & Career:
is for college-age adults through age 29. They gather together for a mid-week service on Wednesdays at the church. Then on Sunday evenings, their Life group meets. They do more than socialize and go on outings. They are also very involved in here at The Rock. Many are involved in teaching kids, the praise and worship team, and drama productions. Exit 220:
is our Youth group. Students attending junior high and senior high are welcome. Youth Service begins every Wednesday at 7pm in the RSM Student Building. Life Groups meet every Sunday @ 5pm (except for the first Sunday night of the month). For more info, check out the Exit 220 "my space."
Drama
Solid Rock Productions is the Drama Ministry of Church on the Rock Outreach Center. It is a multi-faceted ministry which includes: Illustrated Sermons, Sign-Language,Human Videos,and full, theatrical productions.
Children: The Cause of Christ, to seek and save the lost, and disciple the found doesn't stop with adults or teens. It also extends to the smallest of our congregation. We have classes and ministry to every age child from newborn through age 12.
Nursery & PreSchoolers: Trained, Nursery staff are available every regularly scheduled service for children newborn through age 2. Your children are being taught the Word of God in a loving, playful type atmosphere, even at this tender age. They enjoy songs, hear a Bible story and a memory verse, and of course they play. Our kids love the Nursery! See Kim Hensley for further information or any questions you may have.
Then for our young children (age 3-grade 1), we have classes on Sunday and Wednesday. Again we offer structured time where the children are taught the Word of God, enjoy music, and enjoy playing.
Missions: play an integral part of the ministry here at Church on the Rock Outreach Center. At home and abroad, missions makes up a vital part of our vision. We have many opportunities to serve in missions, from Missions trips to Mexico or Africa; to Missions Projects to which you may donate; to Love's Outreach--our community missions work. "Go ye into all the world and make disciples" is a reality here at Church on the Rock Outreach Center. Please join with us as we labor together for God
Food Assistance: Love's Outreach is our food distribution program. Since its inception in August 2003, hundreds of families have been assisted with food donated by Harvester's. We have partnered with Harvester's and our church family to provide this outreach to our community.
