Pastor Toney and Kim Hensley

Toney Hensley is the Senior and Founding Pastor of the Church on the Rock Outreach Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The church was founded in 1986 by Pastor Hensley as a "home missions" work of the Assemblies of God. Pastor Toney's formal education includes Truman State University (formerly NE Missouri State University); University of Missouri, Kansas City; and Berean Bible Institute, Springfield, Missouri. He has been in full-time ministry over 25 years. Since 1985, Pastor Toney has been ordained with the Assemblies of God.

Pastor Toney believes passionately in living and fulfilling the "Cause of Christ." The Cause of Christ being to "seek and save the lost" and "disciple the found." As a respected church leader, speaker and communicator, he has traveled throughout the United States and several countries.

With a commitment to reach the lost, soulwinning outreaches, dramatic illustrated messages and special emphasis days reach all ages throughout the year.

Pastor Toney has written a number of discipleship training materials including, "From the Rock, Soulwinning Course" "Rock Solid Foundational Discipleship" Leadership Curriculum; "From the Rock, Cell Leaders Lessons" and also several praise and worship choruses.

Pastor Toney is married to Kimberly, and together they have four sons: Micah, Gabriel, Josiah, Jordan and daughter-in-law, Laura. They reside in the city of Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Pastor Ron and Olester Lewis

For more than 30 years, Ron Lewis has ministered and traveled throughout the continental United States and around the world preaching and singing about the love of Jesus Christ. His numerous apprearances on television and radio has allowed him to be received with enthusiasm and great expectation wherever he ministers.

Although, most of his ministerial experience is as an evangelist, Ron is the Senior Associate Pastor of Church on the Rock Outreach Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri, a congregation of 450+ in suburban Kansas City, Missouri.

Pastor Ron is a Missouri native, having grown up in Kansas City, and still residing here with his wife Olester. They have four children: Regina, Marc, Angie and Ronnie, Jr.; and four grandchildren.

Ron is also a board member of Kingsway Fellowship Int'l, Des Moines, Iowa; a fellowship of pastors and ministers from around the world. He is also a KFI District Superintendent and international ambassador.

Pastor Kenny and Susie Johnson

Pastor Kenny and Susie, his wife, have been involved at Church on the Rock Outreach Center since 1994. Pastor Kenny is the Rock Cell-Small Group Ministry Pastor as well as School of Ministries Pastor.

Kenny is a steel fabrication foreman with more than 25 years experience in this field. Susie has her Masters degree in Education and is a full-time elementary teacher. Kate, their daughter, is a college senior at Evangel University in Springfield, MO.

Pastor Daniel and Tara McCarroll

Pastor Daniel is the worship leader here at Church on the Rock Outreach Center. He and his family have been at Church on the Rock Outreach Center since 1991.

He received a BA in 1988 from William Jewell College majoring in Religion and History. He was ordained on September 11, 1988 with Kingsway Fellowship International.

Pastor Daniel has worked at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law since 1988. He continues to work in the CLE department producing national and international educational seminars.

He is married to Tara, and together they have three children: Nicholas, Ian and Iriel. They reside in Lee's Summit, MO.

Gabriel Hensley, Exit 220 Student Pastor
Gabriel Hensley grew up at Church on the Rock Outreach Center. He is the third son of Pastor Toney and Kim. Gabriel graduated from Southwestern Assembly of God University with a BA in Human Services and with an emphasis in Criminal Justice. Gabriel minored in Youth Ministry.

Stephanie Hill, Exit 220 Junior High Leader
Stephanie is the Exit 220 Junior High lead teacher. Stephanie graduated from North Central University in 2007 with a BA in Urban Ministries. She's also credentialed through the Assemblies of God.

Pastor Jordan and Laura Hensley
Pastor Jordan and Laura Hensley share teaching responsibilities of Children's Church. They also sponsor Kids Club providing weekly summer activities. Laura works with the children's choir and the children's musicals.

Jordan owns and operates his own landscape business. Laura is a full-time elementary teacher for Lee's Summit School District.

Cheryl is the Administrative Assistant. She's in the office Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.



Office Staff: Leslie Keller

Leslie works in the financial office and is available Mondays and Thursdays.

Building Supervisor: Ed Blair

Ed oversees interior and exterior building improvements, maintenance and building usage for the furtherance of the ministries here at The Rock.
